Pre-K Post

Dear Preschool Parents,

It is difficult to believe this is our last week of school. Thank you for sharing your child and making this year such a success. Please accept our sincere thanks for your tremendous support which made it all possible! 

Our End of the Year Celebration is Thursday, May 30th. The party will be low key and just for the students. Please remember our big family celebration was “Water Day”. The children will definitely come home with stories about their special day though.

Your child will be bringing home their final Developmental Checklist and Progress Report on Thursday. Please take a moment to look for these items in their large brown bags. These are helpful guides as you continue to review and strengthen skills throughout the summer.

Pre-K Summer Camp will begin on Monday, June 3rd.  Feel free to contact us or the office if you have any questions.

Special Request:

As you are doing your summer cleaning please keep us in mind. We are always happy to accept donations of Fisher Price Little People, garages, farms, houses, cars, trucks, or similar type items. 

Important Dates:

Thursday, May 30th – NOON DISMISSAL – send a lunch if your child is staying for Aftercare

Friday, May  31st – LAST DAY of SCHOOL – NOON DISMISSAL – send a lunch if your child is staying for Aftercare

Dear Preschool Parents,

“Water Day” was wonderful! The children had a fantastic morning and the weather was spectacular. We couldn’t have done it without your support though. Thank you to all those parents, friends and family that were able to assist. Please remember to record your volunteer hours in the Front Office.

The end of the year may be near but we are still busy in Preschool. We are reviewing skills, dancing to our favorite songs, singing a few tunes and playing with our friends.

We are tidying up and storing materials for the summer. If you have any towels that are ready to be “retired” we would love to use them here at school.

Dear Parents,

The school year is winding down! We are still busy learning though. The children are studying about oceans and the many fascinating animals they hold. 

“Pre-K Water Day” is this Friday,  May 10th. Parents who have volunteered to assist should plan to arrive by 8:45. We will meet on the playground to review the activities and schedule. Water Day Rules will be coming home on Thursday. ALL parents should review them with their child. We want to have fun and stay safe!

Your child should wear a swimsuit under their play clothes on Friday. This way your child will only have to take off their clothes to begin with and then change back into them afterwards. Please remember to apply sunscreen before your child comes to school.

Each child will need to bring the following to school in a plastic bag (grocery type bag will do)  

•  underwear
• boys will need dry shorts to change into after we play
• a towel
• water shoes or old tennis shoes that can get wet – students will be wearing shoes in the pools and on the slide – NO Crocs or sandals
• water shirts as needed

 Water Day Schedule

Brown & Flynn – 9:00 to 10:00

Brennan & Forget – 10:15 – 11:15

Clean-up – 11:15 to 11:45

The Preschool Teachers

Tomorrow will be a regular pizza lunch day due to the postponement of  Field Day. If your child preordered a special lunch it will carry over until next Friday.
