Dear Prek Families,
Timing is flying, it is difficult to believe we are beginning the second quarter of school. The children have adjusted to their new routines and are busy learning about Jesus’ acts of kindness and making a Jesus is King crown this week.
We are looking forward to meeting with you this week in upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences. It is such a valuable time to get updated on your child’s transition into the new school year. Please contact your child’s teacher or visit the Sign Up Genius if you still need to schedule a conference.
BOO! We will be having a Pumpkin Patch Celebration on our PreK Playground on Friday, October 29th. This fun morning will be filled with Fall themed activities and of course a few Halloween fun games. The children may wear Halloween colors and decorative clothing for this special celebration. If you are able to donate an item/supplies for this special event please give your child’s teacher an email message.

Dear Parents,
This week we will meet Mr. B and his many buttons. During our study of letter B, we will learn about bats & bears and play a little Bingo. We will probably eat a few bananas too!
The children thoroughly enjoyed the very special St. Francis Animal Blessing on Friday. Remember to check the St. Anastasia media pages for photographs. Thank you for your dog food donations. It is still not too late if you would like to add to our collection.
Parent/Teacher Conferences – We will be holding conferences during the last two weeks of October. Please look out for a Sign Up Genius Link from your child’s teacher to reserve a time for a conference. We are looking forward to discussing your child’s progress and answering any questions you may have during this visit. See you soon. 🙂
Pick Up News – For safety purposes and consideration to others, please DO NOT pull in through the St. Anastasia parking lot EXIT and walk up to pick up your child. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Dear Parents,
It’s going to be an absolutely wonderful week as we meet “Ms. A.” She helps us remember to cover our sneeze as we say A-choo. We’re also learning all about alligators, apples and acorns.
Don’t forget to send in a small stuffed animal for our Saint Francis study and blessing. We also send a big “Thank You” for all the dog food donations that are arriving for our local animal shelter.
Thank you to all those families that are taking time to work with their child at home. The work pages, which come home each Thursday, are an excellent way to reinforce concepts and skills we are working on in the classroom.
