Dear Parents,
We hope this email finds you and your family well in these trying times. And hopefully, despite the current situation, you had an opportunity to spend some special family time together over our extended Spring Break. The weather, to say the least, has been simply exceptional!
If you haven’t had a chance, please take a few minutes to read today’s St. Anastasia E-Flash. This E-Flash sent out by school administration explains the Distance Learning Program that will begin on Tuesday, March 31 for all grade levels. The Preschool will be utilizing our Edublog site as the platform for our lessons and the site will be updated each Monday by 8:00 a.m. This will allow you the flexibility to select activities that will work with your daily and weekly schedule. There is an easy link to the blog in today’s E-Flash. Please note the recommended guideline for commitment to learning for PreK students is 60 minutes per day. Of course, this time can be spread throughout the day. At this point, we do not expect the PreK students to “check in” for attendance. We will notify you if there is a change in this policy.
Our Edublog will be divided into three sections. The first section is a weekly practice section listing routine activities your child needs to complete each week.  The second section will change on a weekly basis and contains new skills and “projects” for you to work on with your child. The final section contains the YouTube learning links and sites we have been using at school. We have also added some new additional sites and resources that we have found for you to use at home. They look fun! If you come across any sites or links you would like us to share with the other parents, please let us know and we can add them to the Edublog.
Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any further questions or concerns. We are here to assist our families by email or to set up a phone conference each school day between 9:00a.m. and 2:30p.m. We  look forward to seeing our students and families very soon!
                                                                                                                      Many prayers,
                                                                                                                      Your Preschool Teachers
