Dear PreK Families,
Just a few updates about upcoming events.
FUN RUN — Friday, April 21st The St. Anastasia FUN RUN will take place next Friday, April 21st. We will be walking over to the soccer field first thing in the morning for our 30 minute “run/walk”. The Preschool time slot is from 8:15-8:45 so make sure your little ones are ready for “action”! The children are to wear their regular school uniform with appropriate shoes for running. Don’t forget to send your child’s water bottle. We will take them with us to the soccer field.
Portfolio Night — Thursday, April 27th Mark your calendars for a very special evening with your child –Portfolio Night. Portfolio Night will consist of a brief “show” presented by the children. Afterwards, you will meet with your child to review a collection of their work from the year. We will be having two sessions — 6:30 and 7:05. You will be receiving your time confirmation later this week. We are asking your child to wear jeans, jean shorts, or a jean skirt with a white shirt for this special presentation. We look forward to seeing you then.
REMINDER — Please continue to reinforce letter recognition, letter sounds and numerals at home with your child.
